The Japanese animation is made through many making process and by many staffs from its planning until its completion. Each process is executed by every professionals and according to the size of project the scale of making is getting bigger. If you want to be an animation creator, you have to get the overall knowledge of the animation, you have to decide which field of the creator you want to be, then you have to study techniques in special course of the animation school. Let's take look at the flow of the making of animation and think about in which field of creator you want to be.
Using Motion Capture system which reflects the motion of human body directly to the character of animation.
The animation producer calls for scenario writer, animation director and original author for making the scenario as a drafting for animation project, getting ideas and deciding making staffs. He or she also manages the plan and produce of animations and its copyright.

Following the plan from the planning meeting, the scenario writer writes the scenario(story). Also the character designer designs the characters. The scenario writing is an important job, plotting whole story and the character designing is also important, designing the faces and costumes of characters.

Under the direction of the drafting director, the drafting designer(animator) drafts. The drafting director comprehends the whole process of the story and composes the flow the animation. He checks the quality and matching of characters and sceneries, modifying many times. These years using computer fully , the CG creators collages computer graphics for animation.

Following the completion of the animation, The voice actor/actress puts the voice according to the play. In Japan the voice actor/actress is very popular occupation.

Using computer the editor composes animation, voice, scenery and effective sound into an animation work. Depends on its running time, it takes many hours to do editing. This job requires you sensitivity because of connecting many scenes and of following director’s intention.

Lin Ya-Ting (Taiwan)
Studied art at college in Taiwan, then came to Japan. After studying at a Japanese-language school for one year, she entered Nihon Kogakuin College to learn anime pictures. She graduated this March.
Kim Kangwon (South Korea)
Working as a professional manga artist in South Korea for ten years, she came to Japan for more study. As she studied Japanese language on her own in Korea, she entered Nihon Kogakuin College soon after she came to Japan and has studied character design for a year.
There is shortage of anime schools in South Korea and many people come to Japan to study anime. So, based on my experiences, I will contribute to the anime industry in South Korea in the future.
Huan Jian Zhen (China)
He studied art at college in China and worked as a teacher for two years. He came to Japan to study and try new things. After one year of study at a Japanese-language school, he entered Nihon Kogakuin College to study background pictures. He graduated this March.
My aspiration is to create works like those of Studio Ghibli. I wish to become a full-fledged art painter of background pictures and later go back to China to contribute the industry.
ANIME EXPO EXHIBITION
Nihon Kogakuin College exhibited at ANIME EXPO, a world-famous Anime festival, in Los Angels, USA (July 3, 2008 – July 6, 2008).
Students’ artwork was on display and given out at the exhibition.
It was an opportunity to show our high quality Animation education.
If you want to learn Anime/Manga in Japan, you need to acquire Japanese skills. Japanese language school affiliated with Tokyo University of Technology which is a group of Katayanagi Institute provides Japanese language programs from elementary level. For those who have completed the Japanese language programs and entered the Nihon Kogakuin College, the entrance fee and selection fee will be waived.

I started to work as a CG designer in a Japanese game company from this spring. As I love drawing illustrations, I'll go back to Taiwan and publish my book of illustrations at some point in the future.
