Studying anime in Japan usually takes more than one year for most foreign students.
However, you can study anime and Japanese culture in this 3 week intensive course!

Nihon Kogakuin is a technical school, established in 1947.

We believe that our school is the best school in Japan
equipped for educating in this field of animation.
We also have a university and a Japanese language school as affiliated schools.

The Program Contents

This program will use a part of the short animation film and learn basic skills including drawing, editing and other related resources on making animation

Process of Animation Production

Learn about Japanimation Production. Take look at some of planing documents, settings of characters.

Layout

Draw Layout from learning about storyboard and composition of frame.

Process of Animation Production. In-between animation.

Key-frame animation

Draw key movement of character from layout.

In-between animation

Learn how to divide movement from
key-frame-animation to draw in-between.

Paint

Paint Scan the animation drawing to computer, and color with animation software.

Background drawing

Draw back ground from layout.

Filming

Film the sources and edit.
