- How many classes are there in hour-scale per year ?
- A
- First semester starts from April and ends in September. Second one starts from October and ends in March. The total hour of classes is about 1,000 hours per year, depending on the course and/or grades. For your information, to obtain an Associate diploma, your hours of classes should be no less than 1,700 hours.

- How are classes normally run?
- A
- Basically, classes are run at the ratio of 1 theoretical study to 2 practical training. After you study with textbooks, you will review the study through practical training right away. The character of this system is that you can understand the class very easily since you can review what you have just studied. We also support students who have difficulty in understanding technical terms in Japanese.

- Is there a place where we can use the internet freely?
- A
- Yes, there is. There is the Media Circle at Kamata campus, Internet Cafés at Hachioji and Hokkaido campus, and wireless LAN mobile environment at Kamata and Hokkaido campus. You can access to and use the internet freely at those places.

- Can we use the classrooms/facilities of school after class?
- A
- Yes, you can. Most courses let students use the training facilities from the end of classes to around 8:00 pm. With this system, you can prepare for and review classes under the same environment in classes. You can also use the Internet Lounge, library, and other facilities besides the training facilities.

- Please explain to me the details of the recruiting support system.

- We have the Career Support Center that supports your job hunt. The center has also job files exclusive for foreign students. You are also able to access freely to more than 25,000 job offers through our network.

- I want to transfer to university. How can I do so?
- A
- First of all, you have to graduate from college to transfer. Then, the university you transfer to transfers the credits you have and decides if you are to be in second grade or third grade. In other words, not only the course you graduate from but the classes you take will affect which university or grade you are able to transfer to. Hence, please do ask for counseling about your plans to the instructor in charge.

- What is the difference between transferring to Tokyo University of Technology and transferring to other universities?
- A
- Since Tokyo University of Technology is our sister school, it is smoother to transfer to than the other universities. Tokyo University of Technology secures about 100 openings for students of Nihon Kogakuin College to transfer to. Furthermore, if you transfer to the university, the entrance fee will be waved. Meanwhile, if you are a student of Tokyo University of Technology and wish to transfer to Nihon Kogakuin College, entrance fee will also be waved.

- Could you explain to me about the entrance exams?
- A
- The entrance exams for colleges (Kamata and Hachioji) will be held six times starting from October to February. The exams consist of a screening of submitted documents, an writing examination test in Japanese and an interview. Some courses will test your practical skills. The entrance exams for Tokyo University of Technology will be held in late January. The exams consist of writing examination of Japanese and Mathematics and an interview. Please check the brochure for foreign students for more details.

- Are there any dormitories?

- Yes, there are. All colleges (Kamata, Hachioji, and Hokkaido) and Tokyo University of Technology have dorms directly run by the schools themselves. We also introduce apartment traders and civil student halls.

- Are there activities off classes?
- A
- Yes, there are club activities and recreational school activities. There is cultural, literal, and athletic clubs. Among colleges, Kamata has 21 clubs, Hachioji has 32 clubs, and Hokkaido has 14 clubs. School activities include a field day in spring, a college festival in fall and so on. You would many opportunities to make friends over the boundaries of courses and grades through those activities.
